Maintenance Director

This person will act as the Manager of our Maintenance Team and be knowledgeable in the trades. In this position, you will lead our Maintenance team and build long-lasting relationships with the team, customers, and vendors.

You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with co-workers and clients. Candidates should be goal oriented and MUST possess the drive to achieve long term growth. Previous experience in the management of a team, and a background in construction/maintenance is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Coach/manage maintenance technicians and other personnel

  • Ensure an adequate number of trained maintenance technicians for required workload
  • Run weekly departmental meetings for training on skills and processes
  • Ensure maintenance technician job satisfaction
  • Onboard maintenance technicians and provide ongoing training
  • Manage maintenance technician productivity
  • Setup and manage Quality Control Program for employees and vendors2. Demonstrate and teach at a high proficiency skills in needed trades

3. Manage pipeline generation tools to monthly targets
4. Manage all company vehicles, equipment/tools and needed supplies
5. Vendor management

  • Manage vendors to Service Level Agreement
  • Ensure adequate number of vendors for each trade

Qualifications:

  • 15 to 20 years experience in property management industry
  • Experience with Google Drive and documents
  • Property management database experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing people
  • 5 years in project management – managing cost and timelines
  • 5 years experience in job estimating

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
