Maria McLain

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, I grew up in the heart of cultural diversity with a
strong appreciation for community. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Berkeley College in Manhattan, I launched a successful career in corporate finance, holding leadership roles with major firms throughout New York City. While I enjoyed the fast pace of the corporate world, my true passion revealed itself in 1997 when I became a licensed Realtor.

From the very beginning, I embraced this industry with energy and creativity—building a business before real estate technology and marketing tools existed as we know them today. I learned to connect with people, create opportunities, and become a trusted resource. That same entrepreneurial spirit continues to guide me more than 27 years later.

Today, I bring extensive experience in residential sales, property management, and working with investors. I’ve successfully guided clients, builders, and multi-family owners through everything from first-time purchases to large investment strategies. My background in finance, combined with deep real estate expertise, allows me to analyze opportunities, negotiate with confidence, and provide clear guidance that helps clients build long-term wealth.

Known as a strong negotiator and advocate, I pride myself on educating clients and helping them confidently navigate the real estate process. Integrity, transparency, and follow-through are the foundations of how I work—I don’t just close deals, I build lifelong partnerships.

Outside of real estate, I’m a proud mom and grandmother with a close-knit family, and my third “child,” a clever French Bulldog named Chesty, keeps me laughing and on my toes. When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the mountains, fishing, camping, playing racquetball, cruising on my e-bike, or gardening and cooking. I also have a big heart for kids and animals and love supporting organizations that make a difference in those areas.

At the end of the day, my greatest joy comes from seeing others achieve their goals—whether that’s buying a first home, managing rental properties, or growing an investment portfolio. My role is simple: to be your trusted partner in real estate—every step of the way.
